A local train and 30-minute taxi rider later, we finally arrived exhausted and relieved at our Airbnb in Giungano (Domus Laeta). We nearly wept as we stepped out onto the balcony and witnessed the view of the valley below.

Our days in Giungano consisted of swimming in the infinity pool, reading in the shade, exploring the little town, and dreaming of the future. Of all the places we would see in Italy, this one had to be one of the most incredible. Packing up and saying goodbye, we swore we'd return some day to this little slice of Heaven.
