About Jaybird Renos

Jaybird Renovations is a contracting company based in Hamilton, ON that specializes in siding, doors, windows, and other exterior treatments such as fascia, soffit, and eavestrough.

When Ryan Vandenhaak, owner/operator of Jaybird, approached me about his online presence, we quickly decided on creating a website that would showcase past Jaybird work, and highlight Jaybird’s key differentiators in the industry. Because there are considerable amounts of contractors with varying degrees of reliability, we sought to demonstrate Jaybird’s proven track record and unique approach to home renovations.

In order to build a complete online presence, we also routinely capture photos and videos of projects the Jaybird crew is working on at various stages of completion. This gives Ryan the opportunity to educate his audience on what he’s doing and why; a strength we recognized not many other contractors have.

We then take all of that content and strategically share it through social media to demonstrate an active and accessible brand in order to remain top-of-mind when followers are seeking to hire their next contractor.

Wanting to highlight a portfolio project for the Jaybird team, we shot this walkthrough video with owner/operator Ryan Vandenhaak to showcase some of the key components of the project.

Website

Recognizing the importance of a centralized online presence, we built Jaybird Renos a website that contained a portfolio of past and present work; an introduction to the company owner and ethos; links to all relevant social media channels; video content of projects; and a contact form as an alternate form of communication.

Literally overnight after launch, Jaybird Renos saw leads coming in from their website and continue to see them today. The ability to point to a website as a single place where potential clients can find all the relevant information they need has been pivotal in saving owner Ryan Vandenhaak time responding to tire-kickers, and priming more serious leads who are ready to become clients.
